33% of teenagers have had at least one alcoholic beverage at the age of 15. 60% of 18-year-olds have had at least one drink three years before the legal age of 21.
PROJECT NIVRITTI
The word "Nivritti" is derived from Sanskrit and meaning "withdrawal". Project Nivritti is a youth-led initiative dedicated to breaking the cycle of substance abuse through awareness, empathy, and education.

Meet the Founder
The Project Nivritti was started by a 17-year-old who wished to address the issue of substance abuse amongst teenagers in India. The aim of this project is to reach out to schools and conduct drives for students aged 13 to 17 and educate them about the harms of abusing substances.
